“After training with the US Ski Team the last 9 years, Pilates was a breath of fresh air. My workout routines and strength programs had grown mundane. I needed something new and exciting to give me focus again to my training. Pilates was exactly that and more.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I first started working with Kristin and Wendy at Steamboat Pilates. I had just suffered a major knee injury and was really struggling emotionally. Not being able to do much of anything was something I wasn't accustomed to. Right away, I was able to start working out in a different way. I wasn't stressing my knee but I was still working muscles that I didn't even know were weak. It was a great challenge and confidence booster for me.
As I continued in my rehab, Pilates continued to become more and more of a staple in my training regimen. Since then, I have been able to implement Pilates as one of my primary training tools. I love it and I am so fortunate to have been exposed to it. The aspect of mixing balance, core muscle training, and overall body awareness is everything I need.” I can't speak enough praises!“ |

“I came to Steamboat Pilates about three years ago post surgery from a spinal fusion. There were many activities I had accepted that I would no longer participate in because of my pain before surgery. Since I started Pilates I am more flexible than I have ever been and feel strength in my body I didn’t know existed. Because of the rehabilitative knowledge the instructors have at Steamboat Pilates and the experience and knowledge they have in the Pilates field I have a new lease on life. Living pain-free is a beautiful thing!” -Vivian Raynor
